Description

The Metropolis Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host the 76th Annual Metropolis Christmas Parade. This year's parade will take place on Saturday, December 7th at 1:00 pm. This year’s theme is “Vintage Christmas”. The parade route will begin at Washington Park and proceed through downtown Metropolis along Market Street ending at Walgreens. Please be lined up no later than 12:15 pm in your designated spot.


The Metropolis Chamber Committee has established the following guidelines for all entries:


Each entry must be decorated according to the parade theme and holiday spirit.


The Metropolis Rotary Club is the only entry allowed to have Santa Claus and will be

positioned at the end of the parade.


The application deadline is Friday, November 29th, 2024. You may fill out an application online at the Metropolis Chamber of Commerce Facebook Page, or in writing at the Chamber of Commerce Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or call the Chamber of Commerce office during the above listed business hours at 618-524-2714


All entries must be child/family friendly. No weapons of any kind, real or fake, will be allowed.
